How does FareGuard work?

You've purchased a ticket on United Airlines for $500.00. United Airlines has an airfare sale two weeks later and your price has dropped to $400. FareGuard alerts us so we can reissue your ticket and refund you the $100.00 difference in the form of a travel voucher to be used on your next United Airlines flight.

So who else has FareGuard?

When was the last time an airline called you and told you that they lowered the fare on your reservation and will be giving you a credit difference for your next flight? How many companies actively look out for you after the sale? If you are not booking with GoFox.com, you may never know.

• In addition to FareGuard, all GoFox.com customers receive $100,000 in flight insurance automatically. Just another way we protect you!
• *The minimum fare decrease to activate FareGuard varies by carrier and is generally between $25.00 - $50.00 (USD).
• FareGuard is a free service for GoFox.com customers. All airline tickets purchased on GoFox.com are automatically entered into the FareGuard system.
• FareGuard checks reservations a minimum of once per day until the day of departure.
• Some carriers charge a fee for the reissue of your ticket(s). This fee will be deducted from the fare difference.
• Voucher is valid only on the airline that original ticket was issued on and is valid for 1 year from the date of reissue.
• Certain carriers may allow transferable vouchers, meaning that you may allow another person to use your voucher towards the cost of their next flight. Please check with GoFox.com for current carriers.
• FareGuard is only available on flights purchased independent of packages. Packaged flights from tour vendors or cruise lines cannot be accessed by FareGuard.
